Jilian Deley

Jilian was called to the Ontario bar in June of 2015. She attended Carleton University in Ottawa, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Jilian then received her Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor in 2014.

While at Windsor Law, Jilian was a recipient of the J.W. Whiteside Award in recognition of her outstanding services to the Faculty of Law. Jilian was elected as the Vice-President of Operations of the Students’ Law Society for her third year, and was the Editor-in-Chief for the law school’s student-run magazine. Jilian also represented Windsor Law on the 2014 Wilson Moot team, where she competed against law students nationwide. 

Jilian completed her articles with Graves Richard Harris and Harris Law before joining Harris Law as an associate. She maintains a broad personal injury practice including motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, dog bites, disability denials, insurance claims, and CPP claims. Jilian has also represented victims of sexual assault and physical assault at Criminal Injuries Compensation Board hearings.

Jilian is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and the Waterloo Law Association. She enjoys watching hockey games, reading, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.
